We recognize that this has been an unusual year (this may be quite the understatement!). Marketplace & Academy 2021 is scheduled to be held as a live, in-person event during August 5-8, 2021 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We remain in constant communication with key show partners to closely monitor the situation and create a safe and healthy environment for our show. We are exploring all options and will continue to keep you informed of any updates as the situation evolves and new information becomes available.

Sean and Amy Sullivan head up Summit Exposition, a family-owned, independent trade show management company. Bringing with them 20 years of trade show experience, Sean and Amy deliver individual attention to each client while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Since its inception in 2005, Summit Exposition has produced a wide range of events throughout the United States as well as events in both Canada and Europe. Sean and Amy reside in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA with their two Labrador Retrievers.
Having worked with ASTRA for its Marketplace & Academy event from 2005-2016, Summit is excited to once again partner with ASTRA to bring Marketplace & Academy 2021 to life.

How to secure a booth?
Summit Exposition will begin taking reservations starting on December 11 based on the priority point system. Those companies with higher points will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with their individual date and time.
1. Note your space draw date & time. Those companies with the required level of priority points will receive an email the week of 12/5.
2. At your appointed date & time, call the Summit Exposition office at (412) 882-1420 to select your space for ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy 2021 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
3. View the online floor plan of available and sold booth spaces in real time. Have your top choices ready.
4. After the call, e-mail or fax your completed 2021 Exhibitor Application and Contract within 10 days to email@example.com or fax to (412) 532-3747.
After all conference calls are completed, all remaining exhibit space will become available to the remaining companies with priority points starting January 11. Choices will be made in the order that completed contracts are received via email or fax. Reminder emails for these companies will be sent out one week prior.
Finally, reservations for those member organizations without priority points will begin February 1.
**There is a $300 corner charge (20' x 20' rates include 4 corners)

New Players Pavilion
Back by popular demand, the New Players Park Pavilion, designed for smaller manufacturers, is a fun, unique way to showcase your new-to-market product(s) to qualified buyers in a highly visible part of the exhibit hall. Simplify your planning with a New Players Park booth package that includes carpeting and basic booth furnishings - no need to opt in.

**5' x 10' Half-Booths are ONLY for companies with 5 or less products/SKUs
Companies that registered for the Marketplace & Academy 2020 in Orlando will still be eligible for the first-time exhibitor status.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cancellation policy?
A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of total cost of reserved exhibit space is due with application. Balance on booth space is due February 28, 2021. No refunds issued after February 28, 2021.
If Show Management receives written request for cancellation of space on or before February 28, 2021, the exhibitor will receive a refund less the 50% deposit. For cancellations received after February 28, 2021, exhibitors are liable for 100% of the cost of space and no refunds will be given. What safety measures are being put into place in light of COVID?
What will happen if the in-person event is canceled?
All money for booth space at the Minneapolis Marketplace & Academy will be credited toward a future in-person event that ASTRA will be putting together as soon as possible after the August dates of Marketplace & Academy.
What other events will ASTRA be hosting?
Based on the positive response from the August ASTRA Camp event, ASTRA will be holding a virtual trade show experience, ASTRA Winter Camp, from February 20-23, 2021. Information regarding reserving a virtual campsite will be made available in early January. Bookmark www.astracamp.org for more information.
