COVID-19 Protocol & Safety Guidelines

Marketplace & Academy is Full Speed Ahead

Show management is following guidelines in place by the CDC and both the local and state government at the time of the meeting and will be closely monitoring the situation for any updates.

Face Coverings
As of August 4, 2021, face coverings are required for individuals when inside all buildings and facilities owned or operated by the City of Minneapolis, including the Minneapolis Convention Center, regardless of vaccination status.

To maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Wearing a mask is most important if you have a weakened immune system or if, because of your age or an underlying medical condition, you are at increased risk for severe disease, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated. If this applies to you or your household, you might choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission in your area. You should continue to wear a mask where required by laws, rules, regulations, or local guidance.

Social Distancing Measures
Social distancing is encouraged at the Convention Center which features high ceilings and wide aisles. Additional events will be set up with large round tables to accommodate social distancing.

Hand Sanitizers and Masks Available
Hand sanitizers generously provided by Crazy Aaron’s and masks generously provided by Trinity Group International will be made available throughout the Convention Center.

Badge Stickers
Stickers will be available for attendees to indicate their level of comfort with distance:

  • Red: Social distance, please

  • Yellow: Fist bumps are OK

  • Green: Hugs are OK
